I am an engineer leader, public speaker and former principal engineer.

I  spent almost 20 years working for different organisations in a variety of tech roles before making the transition to working with data. I have spent the last 9 years building data analytics platforms, first at the BBC and then at the fintech startup topi.

Some of the most rewarding areas of my role as principal engineer involved setting up teams to work on specific problems, mentoring, coaching, public speaking and delivering workshops for engineering teams.

I decided to move on from the corporate world to build my own business. I want to continue helping engineering teams and organisations improving how they learn. I do this by bringing case studies for people to work together, putting in practice the skills and strategies we learn in the workshops. We can acquire knowledge in books, podcasts, online talks, conferences, etc; but it isn't until we put it in practice that we truly learned it.

Recently I have been focusing on becoming a coach, and I am applying this new skill to working with senior engineers and technical leaders to improve their communication and business impact.
